OpenAI announced GPT-4o, the latest version of the generative AI company’s flagship Chat-GPT product, during a live stream demo earlier this week. It says it can help with editing, content generation, and even bounce ideas around with the chatbot. The most exciting update is to translate content into multiple languages, which means you can connect with a broader audience!
YouTube’s CEO Neal Mohan pushes the Emmys to reward creators. “[It’s] the best way for the Television Academy to continue its legacy of honouring modern culture while also building a bridge to the next generation of viewers,” Mohan wrote in The Hollywood Reporter.
YouTube hosted its annual Brandcast event in New York City on Wednesday, pitching top advertisers to spend more on creator content. New initiatives announced included YouTube Select Creator Takeovers for advertisers, streaming local WNBA games, adding logos to QR code ads, and a new AI-enabled ad format for non-skip CTV ads. The event featured prominent creators discussing their content and success on the platform.
